1. Information We Collect

Tokens: We generate and store anonymous UUID tokens in our database to manage access limits (e.g., 5 searches per token). These tokens are not tied to any personally identifiable information (PII).

Protected Vehicles: If you use our "Protect Info" feature, we store the vehicle Registration Number to enforce data hiding. This ensures your PII is blocked from public searches on this platform.

2. Data Processing

When you initiate a scan, your search query is processed by our backend server and forwarded to a public API. We do not permanently store the results of these searches. Data is held in memory temporarily for caching purposes (to reduce upstream API load) and then discarded.

3. Data Protection Feature

We respect user privacy. By visiting the "Protect Info" page, users can verify their ownership via their Mobile Number. Once verified, the backend actively redacts sensitive information (Owner Name, Father Name, Mobile Number) from future search queries related to that vehicle.

4. Third-Party Links

Our platform relies on third-party link shorteners to generate access tokens. Once you click "Get Access Token", you are subject to the privacy policy of the third-party provider (ShrinkEarn). We recommend reviewing their policies.

5. Analytics and Logging

Our servers may temporarily log IP addresses and request paths for security and rate-limiting purposes. These logs are automatically rotated and deleted.
